so when the bride-to-be asked if we could do her dessert table,

we were excited like a crazy horse in a stable.

well the theme was rustic,

& here's what we did - 

Baby Jayden's 백일

Baby Jayden celebrated his Korean 100th day (백일),

& his mom got us to do this display,

the theme was something along underwater and teal,

with a touch of musical.

Army of Teacakes

a friend signed up to be a shavee,

& garnered generous donations to Hair for Hope charity,

to thank every one of her angel,

she got us to bake appreciation teacakes - to which we said yes!!! with much zeal.

Baby Cain's Table of Treats

Baby Cain's one month theme was blue, 

& this was what his mom got us to do - 

Jumbo Triple Chocolate Muffins

lately work has been crazy,

so i got lazy,

rhyming for my recipes..

but these muffins are worthy of a rhyme,

a classic chocolate dime!

Purple Sweet Potato Monkey Bread

this is such a great bake..

that goes well with plain tea for breakfast or a tea break!

also it was so fun to make..

& it looks as pretty as any cake.

This is the perfect gift,

something you can prepare in a jiff.

It looks beautiful..

& the receiver will be grateful..

for it beats the typical store-bought mix,

and can be a quick fix,

to a craving for chocolate treats.

this is a delicious dark chocolate tart,

that will win over your taste bud,

and your heart.

Banana Bread & Butter Pudding

never was i a fan of bread & butter pudding,

until i made this delicious thing. 

Salted Chocolate Chip Cookie

the blend of sweet and salty may confound skeptics,

but this is no bag of tricks,

in fact it's a pretty good cookie for an im-stressed-i-need-chocolate kinda fix!

Blood Orange Marbled Cake

despite the crazy mugging,

my sanity needed some baking.

so last week i managed to bake,

this really good butter cake.
