Spicy CCC Soup

an all-time favourite soup,
that taste oh-so-good!
the spicy oomph spins your tongue in a hoop...
& makes you wanna go WHOOOP!

Serves 4

Ingredients
- Celery, 1 packet,washed, leaves removed, sliced
- Carrots, 1 packet, washed, peeled and sliced
- Chilli padi, 3, snipped to smaller pieces
- Onion, 2 medium, peeled
- Water chestnut, 1 packet (the ready-to-eat kind)
- Water, enough to fill your pot till almost full

Methods
- Place all ingredients in a slow-cooker and cook for at least 3 hours on high.
- Enjoy !

How was it?
This soup is fantastic...the natural sodium (salt) in the celery together with the sweetness from carrots and onions will flavour the soup well without the need to add salt or soy sauce! Adding chilli padi or (a lot) of black pepper spices up the soup with an oomph! Perfect for a rainy day...this is my all-time favourite soup to prepare because it is so simple & so tasty, especially with no salt & oil added.

You can make a whole pot like what I always do, portion it out into several containers and freeze. When you want to have a fast and light meal, either microwave the frozen soup for 10 minutes or let it defrost for 10 minutes before transferring the icy soup block to a pot and heat until the ice all melts and soup is heated through.
