Smoothies

commercial smoothies can be pretty high in (added) sugar,
& one should be wiser,
to have these store-bought ones lesser.....
& start being your own smoothie maker,
to whizz in good ingredients to your favour,
& conjure a smoothie that cools this blazing Singapore weather!

I was inspired to embark on this smoothie-making trial thanks to Yoga Girl; whom I follow on Instagram. wow. i know (winks!). anyhows, back to the smoothies, these are very easy smoothie recipes that you can whip up for a light meal or a mid-afternoon sweet treat craving....smoothies are also an excellent way to use frozen fruits or fruits that are way too ripe. you can easily meet the recommendation of 2 servings of fruits everyday just by whizzing up a smoothie of your own...but remember that fresh fruits contain quite a lot of (natural) sugar as well...so in a nutshell: have everything in moderation. alrighty, here are a set of simple & natural smoothie recipes ----
