going through the weekday motion, 

can be like eggs turning rotten!

 the saving grace is always in the kitchen,

where you can wear your apron,

 put on the oven mitten,

& bake bear biscuits in this safe haven. 

look up, it's TGIF tomorrow, my fellow men !

Red Velvet Cuppycakes (C)

this recipe is tested for a girlfriend,

who spent the weekend,

baking this red velvet trend,

but the texture didn't fail to offend (too dense),

& so here I am!

Grainy Fruit Bread from the Rice Cooker

why do we get rumbly in the tummy,
even at 1am when the mind is so sleepy, 
especially when a bread will be baked in a jiffy, 
its aroma diffusing throughout the rooms slowly, 
smelling so heavenly,
& it's exciting as can be,
for it's not baked in an oven you see! 
but you'll find out shortly,
what equipment could whip up a bread so yummy,
that is worth 4.5 hours of waiting patiently, yet eagerly & so very happy 

Blueberry Streusel Muffins

streusel is an amazing topping,

to a plain Jane muffin,

especially one that taste boring,

& in need of some decorating,

so here's a streusel bake for cheering, 

to a weekend so amazing !!

this isn't your average scone,

made with no butter and spiced with an earl grey tone,

it's a simple whip-up that taste pretty good alone...

& easy enough for you to bake your own!

but oh no - the baking doesn't stop,

Sour Cream Chocolate Cake

in an attempt to bake like Awfully Chocolate...

sour cream was thought to be the secret..

 so this became a to-bake target ..

& a pilot..

which turned out to be one of my favourite.

this was a spontaneous bake an hour ago,

moments after i met Addie with a 'hello' !

her hubby had just pampered her with this all-new 'baking' pinko....

& she lent it to me - so generous I know !

well...soon it be time to hit the pillow,

Peach & Passionfruit Yogurt Teacake

having a full tub of greek yogurt sitting in the chiller, 

 a friend's recommendation was the answer!

except that it took forever to cook the cake's centre...

nonetheless it made a decent sweet treat after dinner. 

Tiffany Chocolate Lavender Cake

for a cake that turned out disappointing...

there was some hope for a miracle blessing...

with an attempt of Tiffany Cream Cheese Frosting...

& the salvation taste was absolutely mind-blowing.

for the girl who loves blue,

this tiffany cake was baked by her boo....

who became my 1st prodigy too.

Blackberry & Lemon Muffinbread

it has been awhile since my oven was used,

the next day i'll be meeting some friends whom I can introduce,

to these muffinbreads that have a splash of lemon juice, 

but really baking for the friends is just an excuse - 

honestly I just needed to break loose, 

from Mister JOB's mental abuse (just kidding). 

Pink Ombre with Lemon Buttercream Cake

A spontaneous random bake,

& for a little less 'sin' sake...

a dash of gritty wholemeal was added to the cake,

which turned out to be a little harder than what it could take...

nevertheless this is a prett sweeeet treat that could lead to a potential toothache.
