Ingredients
- 175g
margarine
- 150g
sugar
- 160g
plain flour
- 1 tbsp
baking powder
- 25g
cocoa
- 1 egg
- 100ml
skimmed milk
- 110g
unsweetened dark chocolate, melted
- M&Ms
Methods
- Preheat
oven to 180ÂșC.
- Line a
baking tin with baking paper.
- Cream
the margarine and sugar.
- Add in
the milk and egg, mixing well.
- Combine
all the dry ingredients and add to the wet mixture.
- Mix
well.
- Spoon
into the baking tin and level the surface.
- Bake
for 30 minutes until the cake springs back.
- Cool
for 10 minutes before cutting it into 32 bars.
- Spread
the top with melted dark chocolate and top with M&Ms.
- Yummo !
Recommendations
- Cake
base turned out a little too soft..you may try to…
1)
decrease milk to 70ml, or
2)
increase to 2 eggs, or
3)
substitute 50g plain flour with
bread flour, or
4)
increase plain flour to 200g
